From Clark Hall to Getchell Library to the brink of the Knowledge Center, Harold “Hap” Morehouse has been an integral part of University Libraries for more than four decades. When he retires at the end of June, he will have spent nearly 46 of his 50-year library career here. So, he sat down last month to reminisce about his personal and University memories.

The University’s student email system, Fallon Webmail, will be unavailable from Friday, June 8, at 5:30 p.m. to Sunday, June 10, at 5 p.m. for system upgrades. This upgrade will impact both students and some faculty and staff.

Because of multiple compatibility issues with hardware and campus-specific software, including full testing of the campus anti-virus software, software for Development & Alumni Relations, and several others, the Information Technology Division will not upgrade campus users to the new Windows Vista operating system for at least the next two semesters

Beginning this year, Daylight Savings Time begins on the second Sunday in March, and ends on the first Sunday in November. As a result, DST is four weeks longer this year, from March 11 to Nov. 7, instead of April 1 to Oct. 28. This longer DST date range affects various date/time components of your computer’s operating system and calendar.
