The Work and Family Task Force Committee is exploring the needs and options for the provision of licensed day care for students, staff, and faculty. In doing so, we are undertaking a survey to determine the level of need for day care from the campus community.

Six committees are the subject of this report: Advocates and Allies for GLBT Issues [GLBT]; the Committee on the Status of Women [CSW]; the Multiethnic Coalition [MEC]; the Intercultural Council [IC]; the University Disabilities Resource Coalition [UDRC]; and the Work and Family Taskforce [WFT]. This report will summarize committee activities for 2005-2006, and will provide an overview of the directions that will be taken for the 2006-2007 academic year.

The Committee on the Status of Women had a very productive year and worked on several issues. Members chose to work on one or two of four subcommittees: Campus Safety, Classified Staff, Faculty, Students.
