A grant of $14,000 from the Nevada Division for Aging Services has allowed the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Washoe County to purchase a staff car.

Several buildings on the University of Nevada, Reno campus are without power this afternoon following a fire that occurred on a transformer switch near the Fleischmann Agriculture Building.
