Meyer honored by North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers
Russ Meyer, associate director for housing operations and dining services at the University, was one of 57 individuals who received the 2007 Doctorate of Foodservice medallion at the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) show, held on Oct. 11 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
At each NAFEM show, the Doctorate of Foodservice program recognizes elected leaders of major foodservice industry associations who have given their time and energy to the foodservice industry. Meyer is past president of the National Association of College and University Food Services.
