Administrative faculty evaluation workshop to be held Nov. 1

An administrative faculty evaluation workshop will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Nov. 1 in the Ansari Business Building, Room 101.

This workshop is focused on supervisory personnel, deans, vice presidents and associate and assistant vice presidents, directors, supervisors and others who conduct administrative faculty evaluations; however, non-supervisory faculty members are welcome to attend.

This year for the first time the workshop will include a panel of several of the university’s vice presidents and as well as experienced directors. Key information and expectations regarding the evaluation procedures, timeline, and how evaluation ratings and merit levels are applied will be presented and discussed. The evaluation procedures to be used for this year’s process as well as changes for the upcoming evaluation year will be presented. A major portion of the workshop will be devoted to the panel discussion and question and answers.

It is expected that the presentation and panel discussions will be very informative and beneficial for the faculty.

The session is not mandatory. Videotaping of the workshop is planned and will be posted on the HR website within a week following the workshop.
