POWER OUTAGE
Several buildings on the University of Nevada, Reno campus are without power this afternoon following a fire that occurred on a transformer switch near the Fleischmann Agriculture Building. No one was injured from the fire, and the fire has been extinguished. Power is out for all buildings south of College of Education Building, however Cain Hall is also effected. The University is advising that faculty and staff use administrative leave if their jobs are affected by the lack of power. Power is not expected to be restored until Friday at the earliest. Classes on the main campus, with the exception of the Medical School, are cancelled for the remainder of the today and tonight, August 9th, 2007.
