From the Provost: e-purchasing for chemicals discontinued

I wish to announce that we will no longer be using the SciQuest e-Purchasing system for chemical purchases, effective June 15.
One of the primary purposes of using the e-purchasing was to help track chemical material purchases as required by environmental regulations. The Environmental Health and Safety Office has developed a more effective procedure which will replace the use of the e-purchasing system.
I wish to thank everyone for their efforts in the use of the system and for helping us demonstrate our compliance with environmental regulations through detailed chemical tracking.
