IT Update: New training videos now available
Learn the hidden (and more obvious) features of your new phone by watching a new IT-produced video starring Maggie Ressel, resource librarian in Getchell Library. Photo by: Mark Gandolfo.
Whether you need training in telephones or Office 2007, Information Technologies has a video for you.
Telephones — IT’s own Maggie Ressel is featured in an excellent, 11-minute training video on features of the new NEC phones.
Office 2007 — Although Office 2007 is not officially supported on campus yet, IT realizes that many people will purchase it or automatically get it when they purchase a new computer.
Therefore, IT is making some professional Office 2007 training videos from Lynda.com available on the IT web site.
These videos explain the ins-and-outs of using the 2007 versions of Excel, Word, and Outlook. All are quite different from Office 2003 versions, so you will want to take a look. These videos require a NetID to view.
IT expects to be fully supporting Office 2007 in Fall 2007.
