Stipech named manager of KUNR-FM Public Radio

The University of Nevada, Reno recently named David Stipech as the new Station Manager for KUNR-FM 88.7 Public Radio. Stipech, who had been serving as interim director for the past nine months, assumes his duties immediately.
During his diverse career in the radio industry, Stipech has done on-air broadcasting, local market sales and management. His background also includes experience in communications and public relations, including public speaking, media relations, and the writing, design and production of published materials.
With expertise in human relations, Stipech is a speaker and consultant on topics of employee training, leadership development and team-building. He is a long-time member of the northern Nevada business community and an alumnus of the University of Nevada with a degree in journalism.
The University looks forward to working with Stipech to build a vibrant community radio station.
