Senior Scholar recipients and mentors to be honored, Dec. 8

When Irena Yamboliev came to America from Bulgaria as a young girl in the early 1990s, she wasn’t sure what to expect. Now, she looks back on her experience at the University as a time, she says, of “pure creativity and imagination.” Yamboliev and five other top students will be honored at the Senior Scholar Reception on Friday, Dec. 8, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Jot Travis Student Union Alumni Room.
