Special funds have been allocated by the University Provost to enhance and promote the development of curricula, programs, research, and other creative efforts that have a significant international dimension. Emphasis will be placed on proposals identifying a meaningful result that contributes to the international strengths of the University campus.

When Irena Yamboliev came to America from Bulgaria as a young girl in the early 1990s, she wasn’t sure what to expect. Now, she looks back on her experience at the University as a time, she says, of “pure creativity and imagination.” Yamboliev and five other top students will be honored at the Senior Scholar Reception on Friday, Dec. 8, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Jot Travis Student Union Alumni Room.
