Van Zyl receives prestigious lifetime achievement award

Dirk Van Zyl was recently presented a prestigious award – the Dr. Adrian Smith International Environmental Mining Award. The award, created in 1996, and sponsored by Mining Journal (of London), TIMES Limited and SRK Consulting, has been presented just three times previously. It recognizes lifetime achievement in the advancement of environmental stewardship and sustainability within the global mining industry.
