Political science professors Leonard Weinberg and William Eubank are the senior editors of a series of books about terrorism designed for young readers (middle and high school) published by Chelsea House.“What is Terrorism? (The Roots of Terrorism)” is available now. Weinberg and Ami Pedahzur of the University of Texas, Austin, will edit a three-volume encyclopedia on terrorism for Praeger Security International.
Tom Kozubowski, associate professor of mathematics and statistics, is the co-author of Ill-Posed Problems in Probability and Stability of Random Sums (with L. Klebanov and S.T. Rachev), Nova Science Publishers, 2006.
Ann Keniston, assistant English professor, wrote Overheard Voices: Subjectivity and Address in Postmodern American Poetry. New York: Routledge Literary Criticism and Cultural Theory Series, 2006.
A mathematics reference book by David von Seggern, emeritus professor in the Nevada Seismological Laboratory – “CRC Standard Curves and Surfaces With Mathematica, 2nd Edition” – was published in August with CRC Press, a division of Taylor and Francis Books. It is an encyclopedic compilation of mathematical functions and their graphical representations, designed for scientists and engineers and others using applied mathematics.
Barbara Millis, director of the Excellence in Teaching Program, is lead author with Cottell, P. G. Jr., Pernarelli, N., & Millis, R., of Cooperative learning techniques and instructor’s guide. Mason, OH: Tomson South-Western.
Millis also contributed the following book chapters:

Colleen Morris of the School of Medicine’s pediatrics department recently lent her expertise in genetic disorders to assist with the editing of a new book entitled Williams-Beuren Syndrome: Research, Evaluation, and Treatment. Dr. Morris partnered with co-editors Howard M. Lenhoff, Ph.D., and Paul P. Wang, M.D. to create the book published by The Johns Hopkins University Press this year.
