Winter Closure information, Dec. 23 - Jan. 1

Winter Closure is rapidly approaching, and before we depart for the holidays, I would like to share a few reminders:
During the winter campus closure 2006, buildings will be closed from Dec. 23 through Jan. 1.
In the event of emergency related to the operation of your building, call Operations and Maintenance (B&G) at (775) 784-8020. After hours and on weekends, this number will be routed directly to an on-call member of Buildings and Grounds for immediate attention.
In the event of an emergency related to safety on campus, call 9-911 and the 911 operators will dispatch our officers. 911 will also reach the emergency dispatcher. If your situation is not an emergency, but you would like an officer to respond, call (775) 334-COPS (334-2677) to speak with the regional dispatch center. They will dispatch a University police officer to your location. University Police Services will be open during normal business hours during Winter Closure at (775) 784-4013.
For general computing information, please contact the Computer Help desk, (775) 784-4320 ext. 1.
Note: Over the break, due to the campus-wide telephone switch to a new vendor, IT will have a single unified support line: (775) 682-5000 or, from on campus, dial 2-5000. However, (775) 784-4320 will also continue to work.
The Help Desk will be open daily, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., during the closure (excluding holidays) in room 272 of Cain Hall. You can also send questions to help@unr.edu.
