Wellness Fairs 2006: Fallon, Reno, Caliente, Las Vegas

The 2006 health fair is for participants in the State Of Nevada PEBP self-funded PPO plan (currently employed or retired) and their covered spouses and dependents 18 and older. The fairs offer free flu shots, blood chemistry panels, prostate cancer screenings, and, for those 65 and older, free pneumonia shots. Bring your 2006 or current State of Nevada PEBP ID card for entry to the Wellness Fair.

New This Year: ENTRY TIMES!

Entry times for Reno and Las Vegas only. No appointment necessary for Fallon and Caliente. Call the Hometown Health Hotline at (775) 982-5757 or 1-888-324-3243 between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily to schedule an entry time for:

  • Health Fair
  • Flu and/or Pneumonia shot only
  • to reschedule entry time

If you are diabetic or have special needs, please inform the operator.

Entry day and times will be enforced to create shorter lines for everyone.

  • Fallon: Oct. 25, 7:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. *Please Note Entry Times (by last name). No appointment necessary.

    7:30-8 a.m. — diabetics & those with special needs.
    8-9 a.m. — S-Z
    9-10 a.m. — J-R
    10-11 a.m. — A-I

  • Reno: Nov. 1, 2, 3; 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. Reno Sparks Convention Center 4590 So. Virginia St., Meeting Rooms F-3 & F-4 and F-5 & F-6 (use east entrance; enter parking lot from Kietzke Ln.)
  • Caliente: Nov. 13; 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., Olson Senior Center, 240 Front St. No appointment necessary.
  • Las Vegas: Nov. 15, 16, 17; 7 a.m. - 11 a.m., Cashman Center, 850 N. Las Vegas Blvd., Meeting Rooms 203-206.

    • THESE ITEMS WILL BE OFFERED:

      Blood Chemistry Panel: 10-12 hours prior fasting is required. Please drink water and take medications. Tea and decaffeinated black coffee are OK. No charge with PEBP ID card.

      PSA: A lab test for prostate cancer screening, suggested for men over 50. No charge with PEBP ID card.* No other lab tests available. Results mailed to your home in 3-4 weeks.

      Body Fat Analysis & Weight Check

      Health Assessment Questionnaire

      Flu Shot: No charge with PEBP ID card.*

      Pneumonia Shot: Must be 65 or older. No charge with PEBP ID card.*

      Heel Bone Scan Screening: A $25 fee payable at the time of service. You may apply this screening to your wellness benefit. A receipt will be provided.

      *Wellness Benefit Reminder

    The Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test, flu and pneumonia shots will be deducted from each participant’s $2,500 annual wellness benefit.

    If your wellness benefit is depleted at the time of the Wellness Fair, you will be billed for the cost of these services. For questions regarding your wellness benefits, please call Fiserv Health Benefit Planners at (877) 963-8232.
