Don Brazeale, extension educator for Pershing County, was awarded the “Outstanding Leadership” award by the Association of International Agricultural and Extension Education at their recent annual conference in Clearwater, Fla.
Monica Grecu, English lecturer, received the “Woman of the Year Award” from American Biographical Institute, USA, 2005. She appeared in the “Empire Who’s Who” people of distinction who have been influential within their field, 2005.
The IEEE joint Chapter of Microwave Theory & Technique Society/ Laser & Electrooptics Society of Northern Nevada under the leadership of Banmali Rawat, professor of electrical engineering,has been awarded the Largest Membership Increase Award of 2006. The award consists of a certificate and $200 honorarium.
