During the past several years, the Faculty Senate Bylaws and Code Committee reviewed the University bylaws in their entirety to determine whether they are in compliance with the Nevada System of Higher Education Code and/or in need of language clarification. The enclosed revisions, which have been approved by the Faculty Senate, are the result of that extensive review. We present them to you for your approval.

Steve Zink, vice president of Information Technologies, has announced that Exchange email services, departmental file services on IT’s Network Attached Storage, (NAS), 18 campus databases and streaming media services will be moved to a new server room on Nevada Day, Oct. 27, making them unavailable for the day. WebCT and library online services will not be affected.
