Kat Kantor, executive assistant to the dean of health and human sciences, was a volunteer worker at the international convention of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, held in Reno in August. Kantor is a certified professional secretary who has been a member of the association since 1987.

Don Brazeale, extension educator for Pershing County, is participating as a team member in the USDA-India “Knowledge Initiative on Agricultural Education, Teaching, Research, Service, and Commercial Linkages.” He conducted a training needs assessment in India in January, participated in a curriculum review meeting in July, and will be providing a training workshop for agricultural marketing extension workers in November. Brazeale’s work on this project is all done on personal vacation time.
